The heart behind our ministry
From middle school dreams of foreign missions to discovering that the mission field is right in our own backyard, learn how God birthed Totes of Love Ministry in Manitowoc, Wisconsin to share the gospel through everyday kindness.

Discovering local missions on the streets
Growing up, I believed serving the Lord meant traveling across the globe to places like Africa. However, God revealed that local missions are just as urgent as overseas work. During college with Street Light Ministries in Minneapolis, spending Friday nights feeding the homeless, distributing warm clothing, and speaking about Jesus showed me how life-giving street evangelism truly is.

A tote bag, a prompt, and a divine appointment
Many believers hesitate to initiate faith conversations out of fear or awkwardness. Totes of Love began when the Holy Spirit prompted me to fill a bag with care items and specifically include a birthday card for a stranger. When God guided me to her, she revealed it was indeed her birthday and the bag contained all her favorites. A tangible gift became an effortless bridge to eternal truth.

Answering the call of the Great Commission
While generous hearts have provided donations over the years, the harvest remains plentiful and the workers few. We are actively praying for fellow believers to join us on the streets and step boldly into outreach. We are all called to go and make disciples, using simple acts of care to plant seeds of salvation.
"I was just praying the other day that somehow God could show me he was real. Then started thinking about how it would be great if I could get a hold of a bible. And then... today, here you are!"
