Moments of hope in Manitowoc

Every tote we hand out touches a life in our community. These are real people with real stories. Real struggles. Real journeys toward faith in Jesus Christ. After handing them a tote we ask them if there is anything we can be praying for specifically in their lives. Once we pray for them, we are easily able to transition into spiritual conversations by simply saying, "So I am curious. You allowed me to pray for you. Does this mean you believe in God? What is your spiritual background?" This is the doorway into sharing the gospel. Here are the prayer requests we received at our last outreach. Please be in prayer for these individuals and that the Holy Spirit will draw them to Christ. 

Current prayer needs from tote bag recipients

Kristi- Please pray that I would start believing in God again. 

Corban- Please pray for this young man who we were able to share the gospel with. He is in the 7th grade. He seemed receptive but said he needed to think about it. 

Andio- A brother in Christ we met from Nicaragua. He wanted prayers to learn English better and that he would grow in courage to share Christ with others. 

Ieyla-  Pray for her granddaughter that was born deaf. Pray that her parents will be able to teach her and help her learn how to navigate the world with her dissabilty.  

Luciana & Reymond - A young couple that wanted prayers for their futures in mechanical engineering. They are Coptic Christians (Egyptian) and have a hard time believing hell is real and that they do not have to participate in good works to be saved. 

Jamie- Her and her husband were recently homeless. They were having issues with getting their disability checks. They think the checks were being routed elsewhere. Pray that she would trust Jesus and that the Lord would help them get off the streets. Living in their car is difficult with the colder weather coming. 

Be part of our next outreach story

Come along with us and join us in prayer for our next outreach event. Pray for the team's protection, for wisdom and that the Holy Spirit would lead us where he desires us to go. Pray for the recipients; that their hearts would be softened to hear the gospel. Pray for life change and the kingdom of God to spread.
